‘Most Stylish Fighter’ Paulo Costa Once Flaunted His Blonde Hair Look in 2014

Paulo Costa is arguably one of the most popular fighters in the middleweight division. The fighter is a brutal knockout force and shuts the lights off his opponents. Besides, the former title challenger is associated with his shredded physique and his black hair. However, this was not the case always as the Brazilian fighter once donned a different look.

The fan-favorite fighter appeared on UFC’s The Ultimate Fighter: Brazil 3 edition in 2014. While he captivated the audience with his knockout skills. Costa’s appearance also caught the fans’ attention.

Notably, the fighter appeared with blonde hair look and his look gained traction among fans. Further, ‘Borrachinha’ also was voted as the most stylish fighter on that season of TUF Brazil.

The 31-year-old fighter started the campaign with a submission win in the opening elimination round. However, the prolific fighter’s campaign ended with a split decision loss in the quarterfinal round fight at Sao Paulo.

After his TUF Brazil exploits, Costa made his UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 106 in 2017. Afterward securing a victory in his debut, the Pitbull Brothers representative made huge strides in the promotion. Significantly, the #6 middleweight fighter earned victories over Uriah Hall at UFC 226 and Yoel Romero at UFC 241.

Before Costa faced the former UFC champion Israel Adesanya, the fighter had gone 13-0 up in his professional career. However, ‘The Stylebender’ stopped Costa’s juggernaut and spoiled his perfect MMA record.

Paulo Costa’s next endeavor

The Brazilian fighter fell into a slump after his UFC 253 title challenge loss as he followed with another loss against Marvin Vettori.

However, the 14-2 record holder broke the slump as he secured a win against the former UFC champion Luke Rockhold. Thus, securing his first win after a period of almost 3 years.

Costa will exchange blows with Robert Whittaker at UFC 283 next year on the Australian fighter’s home turf. And the winner will move inches closer to the next title shot.
