Former UFC champion, Cody Garbrandt has seen both the highs and lows of combat sports, from claiming the UFC gold undefeated against Dominick Cruz at UFC 207 to losing 5 of his 6 Octagon fights. Notably, ‘No Love’ never looked the same after his first title defense loss to T.J. Dillashaw at UFC 217. While he tried every solution, even fighting in the flyweight division for once, nothing worked out for the Ohio-born fighter. However, the iron-willed fighter will once again enter the Octagon at UFC 285 against Julio Arce in March 2023.

His dismissal loss streak with his first title defense continued with another loss against T.J. Dillashaw at UFC 227. Another loss against Pedro Munhoz followed at UFC 235. The only win he garnered came against Raphael Assunção at UFC 250.

Worriedly, 4 of his 5 losses came via a knockout. Therefore, the fighter will enter the T-Mobile Arena next year with the target to return to winning ways.
