

The UFC president Dana White has been receiving a lot of criticism for his new Slap League launch. Furthermore, the recent revelation of the new Power Slap League had the same fate. It seems like fans aren’t too elated about the idea. Even though White has the know-how of developing a successful combat sports promotion and maintaining it, social media users were left scratching their heads at a sport that involves slapping their opponent. And they did not hesitate to share their thoughts about the sport and its belt.

This isn’t the first time White has found himself at the receiving end of a new endeavor. When he first took over the UFC back in the day, the promotion had a terrible image among people. In addition, the UFC was considered quite violent by the general audience. Thus, the promoter struggled to find venues to conduct events in the beginning.

Power Slap League is tried and tested
Although Dana White isn’t the first to launch such an endeavor. He will still strive to make his promotion the best in the business. Moreover, a huge backlash has made sure that the promotion remains in the headlines. It still hasn’t had its first event yet. Perhaps there’s a chance the promotion may win over its doubters.
