Brock Lesnar was never a conventional UFC fighter. His debut was against a former UFC world champion, Frank Mir. And though he lost, he showed he belonged inside the Octagon. Consequently, after winning the heavyweight title, in the rematch at UFC 100, ‘The Beast Incarnate’ sparked his debutant opponent. Besides, the show, UFC 100, created history in PPVs buys.
However, UFC President Dana White and owner Lorenzo Fertitta were not happy with Lesnar’s comment in the Octagon interview with Joe Rogan.

In his book, ‘Death Clutch: My Story of Determination, Domination, and Survival’, Lesnar revealed how his comments about Bud Light caused him trouble after the bout.
In the Octagon interview with longtime UFC color commentator, Joe Rogan, Lesnar said, “I’m gonna drink a Coors Light because Bud Light won’t pay me anything.”
In the book, the former UFC heavyweight champion described what led to him saying those comments.
“I don’t know why, but I happened to look down and see the Bud Light logo on the Octagon floor, and it set me off,” Lesnar noted in his book. Bud Light was not sponsoring Brock Lesnar.

Lesnar described the aftermath, “Dana wasn’t happy. UFC owner Lorenzo Fertitta wasn’t happy.” He detailed his lawyers, got a ‘tongue-lashing’ and ‘chased down’ by the UFC officials. Besides, his own sponsors were not pleased with his comments.
But as far as Lesnar’s emotions, he revealed how he felt, “I was pretty happy. Well, at least I was happy for a little while.”
Lesnar also described what Dana White told him about the matter. Additionally, he labeled the incident as ‘the quickest trip ever from the top of the world to doghouse.
Brock Lesnar gave a message to people who disagree with his story
Lesnar was not a brash talker like Conor McGregor or Colby Covington, who would go to extreme lengths to berate their opponent ahead of the bout. Joe Rogan even claimed Lesnar didn’t want to build fights ahead of events.
