Taking to Instagram to express her utter disbelief, Vonn wrote, “It’s hard to believe that you’ve retired.” Roger was not just Vonn’s friend, but also an inspiration.

She mentioned, “I’ve looked up to for so many years.” She talks about Roger’s “French Open victory to your Olympic medals.” Seeing Roger all these years weave magic on the court was undoubtedly inspiring. Recounting all the glorious tennis moments, she adds, “I will miss watching you on the court.”
