Aspiring to Achieve the Legendary Accolade of Stars Like Hulk Hogan, 49 YO RAW Star Makes Interesting Statement

The Hall Of Fame is for every WWE wrestler that one holy grail that they strive to be part of their entire career. Over the years many greats have been inducted ranging from wrestlers to ring announcers and even celebrities from other fields.

Each of these individuals has played a pivotal role in making WWE the household brand that it is today. Many stars aspire to be inducted once in their lifetime. But MVP, the current manager of “The Nigerian Giant” Omos has dreams of being inducted twice.

MVP wants to replicate Hulk Hogan’s feat

MVP full name Montel Vontavious Porter in his hay days had a major feud with Matt Hardy with whom he ironically also won the WWE Tag Team Championship. MVP also held the United States Championship for a then-record 343 days. On his recent appearance on the Cheap Heat podcast, host Peter Rosenberg quizzed him about his future Hall Of Fame induction.

MVP said,”I think it’s fair. My question is, do I go in twice? Do I go in once as a wrestler, then again as a manager?”. He even went on to mention that,”Paul Heyman inducts me”, talking about his wishes.

And if Heyman is busy inducting Brock Lesnar that night, then MVP gave Matt Hardy as the second option. Later on in the podcast he also talks about his friendship with the late Iron Sheik. Talking about being inducted into the Hall of Fame twice, the names on the list are quite prominent.

Which wrestling greats have been inducted twice

Wrestling juggernauts who have been inducted once include stellar greats like André the Giant, Mike Tyson, the recently deceased Iron Sheik, Edge, the Texas Rattle Snake Stone Cold Steve Austin, and the late Eddie Guerrero to name a few.

But some prominent wrestlers have had the fortune of being inducted twice into the Hall Of Fame. That illustrious list includes in-ring heavyweights like Hulk Hogan, Nature Boy Ric Flair, Bret “Hit Man” Hart, HBK Shawn Michaels, Booker T, Kevin Nash, Sean Waltman, and the late Scott Hall.

As of 2023, 127 wrestlers have been inducted. Rey Mysterio was the latest to get inducted in the batch of 2023. And MVP has high hopes to join this list soon.
