The March 25th episode of WWE Raw saw the appearance of CM Punk in the squared circle. ‘The Best in The World’ was sure not to miss a show in his hometown, Chicago. But, he didn’t just come empty-handed to appease the home crowd. While he had a busted arm, he made full use of the fireworks his mouth could set off.

CM Punk is one of the most straightforward speakers on the mic who never holds back. Moreover, he is also a bonafide trash-talker who knows how to gently caress the boundaries without violating them. In fact, he even took a dig at both Vince McMahon and Dwayne Johnson without batting an eye before the crowd.

The Scottish Opportunist called himself ‘The Chosen One’ during the show, which prompted CM Punk to immediately step in with a jab. Punk asked McIntyre if the WWE Universe was the one to call him ‘The Chosen One’. If not, he asked him to reveal who exactly gave him the name which he was gloating about. Apparently, Drew McIntyre was given the name by Vince McMahon.

CM Punk put McIntyre on the spot, but he smoothly let it slide and ignored Punk’s taunts. Punk even went after The Rock in an exclusive segment off-air where he took shots at Dwayne Johnson. According to Fightful.com, Punk said, “I’m glad. I’m glad Rock’s back. It’s good to see that he knows his role, and he’s kept his mouth shut.” He made this comment when he was asked about his opinion on The Rock not mentioning his name while talking about the upcoming Mania.

CM Punk and Dwayne Johnson had a hot rivalry back in 2013 when The Rock ended his WWE Championship reign at the Royal Rumble. Moreover, Johnson successfully defended the title at the Elimination Chamber as well. The upcoming WrestleMania XL has become almost completely about The Rock. However, despite his injury, Punk will be in the Mania as well.

What will ‘The Best in The World’ do at WrestleMania XL?

The Chicago Crowd was roaring and cheering for CM Punk to become the special guest referee in the McIntyre vs Rollins showdown. Seth Rollins however tried to diss Punk and said that he couldn’t do that since Punk’s counting arm was busted. Proving him instantly wrong, The Second City Saint hit three counts on the canvas while the crowd counted with him.

CM Punk then said that he couldn’t be objective while officiating for Rollins and McIntyre, and called them “dips***s”. The Scottish Superstar reminded Punk to control his language and said, “PG Brother.” Drew McIntyre also asked CM Punk to put his razor-sharp mouth to better use. He suggested that he could join the commentators for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship match.
