Royally Rowdy: When Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey Took Each Other to the Limit in Brief WWE Rivalry

Over the years, WWE fans have witnessed many great rivalries. But there is only one ‘Royally Rowdy’ rivalry in the history of WWE. That rivalry is between Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey.

Charlotte Flair has been a top star throughout her WWE career. From winning multiple championships to brutally attacking Ronda Rousey at WWE Survivor series 2018, Flair has done it all.

On the other hand, Ronda Rousey made her in-ring WWE debut back at WrestleMania 34. Since then Ronda dominated the women’s division but the Baddest Woman on the Planet soon came under The Queen’s radar.

It all started at WWE Survivor Series 2018 when Charlotte Flair replaced the injured Becky Lynch to take on Ronda Rousey.

This match announced the beginning of one of the most brutal and fierce rivalries in WWE. It was a dream match-up as the two elites were ready to go head to head that day.

Charlotte Flair vs Ronda Rousey at WWE Survivor Series 2018

The match indeed lived up to the expectations as the two superstars gave performed admirably throughout the fight and gave it their all. It was an intense battle, as both women just refused to quit.

Watching the match, it looked like it would have been the end of the world for them had they lost. The match was indeed a spectacle of great wrestling by two of the company’s most talented wrestlers.

But this rivalry took an ugly turn soon. Things got heated when Charlotte attacked Ronda Rousey with a kendo stick, leading the match to end in disqualification.

The Queen was clearly not worried about the result as she focused on causing pain to the Baddest Woman on the Planet. Flair unleashed a brutal assault on Ronda Rousey as she hit the former Raw Women’s champion multiple times with the kendo stick.

The magnitude of the attack was such that soon there were bruises all over Ronda’s body. The Baddest Woman on the Planet looked in pain for the first time since her debut in WWE.

But the Queen did not stop there. Flair looked possessed as she attempted to end Ronda’s career. Even the WWE officials could not sustain the wrath of ‘The Queen’. Fortunately, Ronda did not suffer any major injury.

The Queen resumed her rivalry with Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 35

The Charlotte Flair- Ronda Rousey rivalry took the next step when the two women went on to main-event WrestleMania 35 along with Becky Lynch.

Days before their WrestleMania match, the three women got involved in a brawl on Monday Night Raw.

This incident even lead the police to arrest these three women. But it seemed like there was no stopping them. The brawl continued inside the police car as Charlotte hit Ronda with a knee right to her face.

That looked very brutal, giving us a flashback of Flair’s assault on Ronda back at Survivor Series 2018.

During their match at WrestleMania, Flair and Rousey traded some brutal blows as the duo, along with Becky Lynch, gave us a main event-worthy match at WrestleMania 35. Ultimately, it was Becky Lynch who emerged as the victor.

That was the end to this heated rivalry between Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey as Ronda left the company after that match. And while the rivalry between ‘Rowdy’ and ‘The Queen’ was short, it was really fierce.

Later, Rousey also complained about the lack of family time as she has to travel a lot during her time in WWE.

But if the Baddest Woman on the Planet decides on coming back to WWE soon, we might get to see a new chapter in the Flair-Rousey rivalry.
