WWE Superstar Cody Rhodes has promoted himself from prey to predator against The Bloodline. The American Nightmare has had enough of being dogged around by Roman Reigns‘ faction and his tolerance levels have significantly dropped. Especially after Dwayne The Rock Johnson joined The Bloodline. So much so, that he even sees Wiseman Paul Heyman getting close to him as a threat.

This scenario shows that Rhodes is well on his way to tearing down The Bloodline in their upcoming WrestleMania tag team match and winning the WWE Universal Championship. However, a pro wrestling legend Tommy Dreamer, says that he wants to see The American Nightmare lose. He wants The Rock and Reigns to win in the tag team match. But, the legend isn’t a Rhodes hater. He said that losing the tag team match would be in the best interests of Rhodes.

“I wanna stack the deck so far against Cody to get him to Mania. And like I said, this is WrestleMania. If you are saying this is the biggest WrestleMania of all time, I like layering stuff too, because how is this guy going to overcome all these obstacles? You know he has a match going against him,” stated Dreamer.

According to him, he thinks it will be difficult for Rhodes the babyface to overcome a ton of issues. He further added, “Also, another thing: management. Normal management wouldn’t put the good guy in that situation. But if the bad guy, The Rock, says, ‘If you do this, you get this,’ because it works against your face of the company’s advantage.” He shows concerns for Rhodes as the company might create some hurdles along the way.

But if a heel like The Rock is involved then they might take the risk to create all the problems. Hence although being The American Dream’s fan he still wants him to lose for his good sake.

However, Dreamer also suggested a good storyline that might develop for Rhodes along the way if he loses.

Further in the same interview, he said, “And if we’re talking long-term booking. He came in at 30, then he came in at 15, now I have got to go through number 1 if I am gonna get through the Royal Rumble.”Alternatively, WWE may pair Cody Rhodes with Seth Rollins in a compelling storyline as Reigns seeks a new challenge.

Damian Priest‘s MITB contract, which he may cash in any place, was not factored in. Drew McIntyre‘s narrative is about showcasing one’s skills in front of a live audience, thus Dreamer advocates betting on him. ” And I could go Drew-Damian and Seth involved with Cody in a mega-power type of situation and Roman off to his own island till you see someone gets over,” said Dreamer.

When Rollins is free, a plot involving Rhodes may take place, and McIntyre and Priest could continue their fight. Matt Camp had also chimed in with the theory that Johnson’s long-time rival might also help Rhodes.
