Huge stars from NBA and NFL, such as Shaquille O’Neal and Peyton Manning, are long-time fans of the action. Recently, a famous 49ers star joined the exclusive list. Moreover, he even wants to take a shot at professional wrestling sometime in the future. It remains to be seen whether he would make the switch like Rob Gronkowski in recent memory.

George Kittle revealed his interest in being associated with the WWE sometime soon. The 29-year-old never hid his passion for the high-octane action in the ring. Recently, A TMZ reporter asked the four-time pro bowler whether he could make an entry into the promotion. Kittle affirmatively replied, “Sounds fun!

Therefore, the Wisconsin native might be seen in the WWE ring someday. However, he is currently focused on his NFL career and is currently helping the San Francisco 49ers win points. Kittle’s love for wrestling is no secret, and it seems like he is just waiting for the right opportunity to make his debut in the WWE. Therefore, like many celebrated athletes across America, Kittle also wants to see himself battling it out in spandex tights.

Will he follow in the footsteps of Rob Gronkowski, who regretted his switch from the NFL?

One in recent memory is Rob Gronkowski, who made the switch from being an NFL star to following his passion for wrestling. The former New England Patriots decided to end his NFL career and signed with WWE. Fans thought that he would be a good fit for the company. He appeared on WrestleMania 33 to show his support for his friend, Mojo Rawley. However, he was mostly used as a comedic relief in the build-up and not in any actual fights. His lack of wrestling experience and training might’ve let to that outcome.

Therefore, fans need to ask themselves an important question. Would Kittle follow in the footsteps of Gronk and join the WWE, only to regret it later? Moreover, would he fit into the grand scheme of Triple H’s creative direction?
