WWE Ready to Spend Millions to Get Cristiano Ronaldo for Single Appearance at Crown Jewel, Rumors Report

Crown Jewel 2023 is around the corner and people are excited to see their favorite talents. It’s the fifth edition of Crown Jewel PLE from Saudi Arabia. This is WWE’s premier live event in Saudi Arabia, part of a 10-year partnership supporting Saudi Vision 2030. WWE usually brings their players to this event, but it looks like they want more. WWE wants to spend a ton of money on Portuguese soccer icon Cristiano Ronaldo to bring him to the event. 

There are rumors circulating that WWE is prepared to offer CR7 a substantial multimillion-dollar payment to make an appearance at the November 4th PLE. If the rumors are true, then how much WWE is actually willing to pay the Al-Nassr forward?

The 2023 Crown Jewel, will take place on November 4, 2023, at the Mohammed Abdu Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Rumors swirl about WWE’s hefty offer to Cristiano Ronaldo for a Crown Jewel 2023 appearance. The soccer icon boasts a dedicated fanbase on social media, making his presence a global draw.

Ronaldo’s stint with Al-Nassr FC in the Saudi Pro League piqued WWE’s interest, and him being in the country of WWE’s next PLE makes it a viable attempt from their end to have a global icon like him on their show. According to reports, WWE will fork out around $40-$50 million to have Cristiano present at their PLE.

These rumors reflect WWE’s strong desire to have the five-time Champions League winner grace the show in some capacity. Additionally, Saudi officials might be keen on this to boost their profile.

However, it’s important to note that there’s no concrete source confirming this potential deal. Nonetheless, his fans await his decision as the PLE and Ronaldo’s game with his soccer club. The odds of Ronaldo appearing at Crown Jewel remain uncertain, especially given his team’s match on November 4. But there are other big stars that will be present in the PLE.

Who’s on the PLE lineup? 

WWE is actively creating rivalries and developing match lineups for the event, with two matches already confirmed and more in the works. The Crown Jewel event is set to feature top WWE stars including Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, LA Knight, Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, Bianca Belair, Logan Paul, and many more. 

Currently, the confirmed matches are Seth Rollins vs. Drew McIntyre for the World Heavyweight Championship. There’s also a Women’s World Championship match featuring Rhea Ripley, Nia Jax, Shayna Baszler, Zoey Stark, and Raquel Rodriguez.in a Fatal 5-way match. It also looks likely that WWE will confirm Roman Reigns’ title defense against LA Knight at the PLE.
