The longest reigning Universal Champion Roman Reigns rarely breaks his character on TV. However, he did break his character on this week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown.

Reigns broke his character because Warrior Award recipient Jarrius Robertson “coached” him to perform a wrestling maneuver. Stephanie McMahon arranged a special ringside place for Jarrius so that he could have a nice time.

However, during a match, Roman Reigns gave Jarrius a high-five because Jarrius was directing him to perform a move on his opponent.

Since that victory, Roman has not looked back. During his 530 days as the champion, Roman has slain multiple legends throughout his journey as the champion. Perhaps, his greatest victory as the champ came when he defeated the 16-time World Champion, John Cena at the SummerSlam PPV last year.

Recently, Reigns defended his title against his former Shield brother, Seth Rollins. However, Reigns is currently involved in a long-term feud with ‘The Beast’ Brock Lesnar, and it looks like the two heavyweights will collide at the WrestleMania 38 PPV.

However, Reigns has a tough opponent for the upcoming Elimination Chamber premium live event in Saudi Arabia. WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg made his comeback recently and announced that he will face Roman Reigns for the Universal Champion.

WWE fans currently have a mixed reaction to this comeback. Many fans think that WWE should give chance to newer wrestlers on the roster.

Reigns and Goldberg were supposed to face off at WrestleMania 37 when ‘Berg was the champion. However, WWE had to change its plans when Reigns withdrew his name in the wake of COVID-19.
