For someone who has not entered the boxing ring for a solid two years, Jermall Charlo looks splendid as he begins training. It has come to light that the older Charlo brother has resumed training with his coach, Ronnie Shields after what seemed like the longest sabbatical ever. He took a break from the sport citing injuries and issues stemming from his personal life. He has not been seen fighting since his unanimous decision win over Juan Macias Montiel in June of 2021.
Now, about two years later, seems like a dawn has risen in his life that will pick up his career from where he left it off. His re-entry in the ring comes amidst calls by impatient boxing enthusiasts who have called for the WBC to strip the Houstonian title of his. However, the head of the body, Mauricio Sulaiman has constantly sided with Charlo through his healing period. Now that he has hinted at returning to the ring, who will be his first opponent to bridge the gaps made over two years?
