Tyson Fury Pays One Last Tribute to the Undertaker – “Thank You for the Memories, Matches and Inspiration”

WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury paid one last tribute to WWE legend The Undertaker. The ‘Gypsy King’ tweeted his appreciation with an inspirational video of his own. This is not the first time the heavyweight champion has publicly praised the former WWE heavyweight champion. He has shown his appreciation multiple times towards the legendary wrestler.
The Undertaker had a final farewell at the Survivor Series PPV. The 55-year-old wrestler had announced his decision, and this was meant to be a time for his fans and colleagues to pay tribute to his legendary career. As expected, the whole wrestling world came together to bid adieu to one of the greatest to ever wrestle. ‘The Gypsy King’ was one among the many.

The undefeated champion has long been an admirer of the American and has said he inspired him on many occasions. He shared an emotional video of his comeback against Deontay Wilder on Twitter. He said that he would tune in to the ‘Phenom’s’ last goodbye.
The video showed several comparisons between Fury and the Undertaker. Fury wrote, “Thank you for the memories, matches and inspiration”.

Tyson Fury and the Undertaker have shared their respect before.
This is not the first time that the two icons of their sport have voiced their respect for each other. The boxer tweeted a message of respect to the wrestler after he announced his desire to retire; The Undertaker replied with his own message to the Englishman.
Therefore, this is nothing new for fans across the world. Fury‘s comeback after being knocked down by Wilder in their first fight, has often been compared to The Undertaker’s iconic sit up. That is where the world took notice of the pair’s similarities.
