Warriors Injury Report: Dubs’ Charlotte Visit Dealt With Bad News With Rockets Threatening Play-in Seed

The Golden State Warriors have serious trouble ahead of the Charlotte Hornets clash. The Dubs are in dire need to make the maximum out of their remaining schedule to secure their playoff spot. Currently, they are just two losses away from giving up their spot to the in-form Houston Rockets. After a slight hassle, the Bay Area side has gone back to winning ways as they won two back-to-back road games. Tomorrow, they take on the Hornets at 7 PM ET.
While the Dubs play a must-win game, the latest injury report has a different story for them. Jonathan Kuminga, who missed the last game against the Orlando Magic, might miss the Hornets game as well, reported Anthony Slater. The team listed the rising superstar in the Questinables category with left knee soreness. Kuminga is also joined by Dario Saric with right knee soreness.
Jonathan Kuminga (left knee soreness) and Dario Saric (right knee soreness) are both questionable for the Warriors tomorrow in Charlotte. Kuminga missed the Orlando game with what Kerr described as some tendinitis.

Jonathan Kuminga has had a breakout season this year, averaging a career-best of 16.3 points per game. He not only worked his way to the starting line-up but also became an important piece in the Warriors offense, averaging 20 points since February. Importantly, the team needs his service for the remainder of the regular season to fix their playoff spot.
The Rockets powered by the in-form Jalen Green have emerged as a serious threat to the Dubs inching behind them. The team has come back stronger with a 10-game winning streak, which turned out to be the best team in March.
In this situation, Kuminga’s fitness seemed to be a big concern for the Bay Area. Furthermore, Anthony Slater’s injury report also stated that the 21-year-old was recovering from tendinitis. The circumstance raises notable concern for the Dubs in their upcoming clash.

Will the Warriors sweep the Hornets with a shorthanded side?
Last night, the Dubs took down the Magic without Kuminga and Draymond Green. The refs ejected the star power forward only 4 minutes into the game. Despite that, the Dubs produced a defensive brilliance and took home a 101-93 comfortable victory.
However, this can’t be the case for every game. The Hornets have a history of upsetting the top-seeding Boston Celtics this season. So, the Dubs have to pull in their maximum firepower to make it three on the trot.

Moreover, the team also has positive news, as it witnessed the brilliance of Andrew Wiggins late in the game. He dropped a quick-fire 13 points in the 4th quarter to save the game. It thus remains to see if the Warriors adapt their previous stance to save their play-in spot despite the obstructions.
