Carlos Sainz Says ‘He Will Start With a Bit of Disadvantage’ Compared to Leclerc at Ferrari

Carlos Sainz has locked out a dream two-year contract with Ferrari. The Spaniard is moving from McLaren after a successful season, helping the team finish P3 in the championship standing. Sainz himself finished the 2020 season in P6 as one of the strongest drivers in the midfield.
The Ferrari driver will drive alongside Charles Leclerc this season. The Monegasque outshined his teammate, Sebastian Vettel, last season. Thus, Carlos Sainz is aware of the challenges that now lie ahead of him.
“I will obviously start with a bit of a disadvantage not knowing the car, having very little winter testing, having one-day-and-a-half to prepare the season.”
