2023 United States Grand Prix Schedule: When and Where to Watch the Race at the Circuit of the Americas

F1 fans rejoice! After a tough race at the Qatar Grand Prix, the United States Grand Prix is back and better than ever. Bound to be an action-packed thriller, the COTA comes with drama and high stakes for teams and drivers. This will be the first race for Max Verstappen as a three-time world champion, whereas on the other hand, Checo has to fight for his future. However, with the battle among teams for second and third place in the constructors’ championship wide open. The top half of the grid will most likely witness some hard racing.

The United States Grand Prix will be held from 20 October to 22 October, at the amazing Circuit of The Americas. Right after turn 1, this track features the famous Suzuka-esque high-speed S’s. It will also be a Sprint-format weekend. With Max Verstappen winning the past, the 2021, and 2022 US GP. It’ll be interesting to see if the current world champion can achieve a three-peat. Following a near-faultless performance at the Lusail International Circuit.

How important is the Friday Qualifying to win the USGP?

The Circuit of The Americas is a high-down force track with a bunch of low-speed corners. The importance of the Qualifying sessions is absolutely detrimental. Moreover, with this GP being a sprint format, having a good qualifying finish makes it all ever so sweet. Especially for Mercedes, Ferrari and McLaren. As they are in a somewhat three-way fight for second and third place at the constructors’ championship.

With Fernando Alonso throwing McLaren a challenge, the MCL 60 drivers are out to hunt. The in-form papaya army will be surely looking to aim for another podium finish, after their strong display at the Qatar Grand Prix. Besides this, Red Bull’s Sergio Perez will also look to save his seat, following a strict warning from Helmut Marko.

The Silver Arrows and Tifosi are also expected to go head-to-head against each other. Following a disappointing crash at turn 1, with his own teammate, Lewis Hamilton will be looking to have a strong showcasing at one of his favorite tracks. It’ll be interesting to see how Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc will perform.

Daniel Ricciardo is marking his return, following an injury at the Dutch Grand Prix. The other half of the grid is also expected to be competitive. As Guenther Steiner’s Haas are going to be introducing some major upgrades, here at the Austin Grand Prix.
