Lando Norris is the one for McLaren F1
After a sensational Imola podium last year, Lando would’ve not expected this to happen again. Throughout the weekend, the Britisher was quick on his reflexes, reeled in to grasp any opportunities, and finished ahead of his teammate. After claiming a good start from the front, Norris dropped a few points during the sprint. But all was not lost, as he made a pleasant drive during the main race.

From the initial shocker of a deadly engagement between two cars, Lando was quick to drive his way out of it. The young lad kept ahead of Red Bull’s Sergio Perez and bravely defended before his car bowed down to the quicker chassis. The hurdles didn’t bother him much as he safely landed himself on the podium. This win even urged the McLaren camp to award Lando with his own rendition of Whole Again.

Daniel Ricciardo might not match up to Norris
Although his teammate Daniel Ricciardo was far behind and ended P18, he too got a pat on the shoulder. Not to make him feel too left out, the Woking team also included “Super Daniel” during their “Super Lando” chants. Ricciardo smashed his car into a Ferrari during lap 1 as a result of which he himself drove a hurt car. Though he recovered from the crash, problems in the MCL36 did not give him too much pace and at Imola, it is always tough to overtake on.
