Patrick Beverley is back to business. The 35-year-old moved to his sixth team since the 2020-21 season. After playing around 50 games, the Philadelphia 76ers traded him to the Milwaukee Bucks yesterday. Hours later, the veteran point guard was already present at the Bucks’ game against the Charlotte Hornets tonight.
Not only that, the star guard also tried to steal Doc Rivers’ role in the Bucks franchise, by taking away his clipboard during the timeout. The video of the hilarious moment took over the internet and fans were all over it.

Ever since Doc Rivers took over the coach’s office, the Bucks have lost 5 out of their 6 games. The team which strongly held the 2nd seed in the East, has now been juggled around between the 3rd and 4th seed.

While the entire blame wouldn’t fall on the new head coach, as the Wisconsin side also has injury woes. The team’s starters, Damian Lillard, Brook Lopez, and Khris Middleton, were out in the last few games. And, their absence was felt throughout as Giannis Antetokounmpo struggled to shoulder the team without their support.

As a consequence of the injury blow, the Bucks roped in a backup guard from the Philly side to manage the affairs of the team in Lillard’s absence. However, the hilarious video might hint that Pat Bev might have taken his role a little too seriously.

This isn’t the first time when Pat Bev has pulled off a hilarious stunt during a timeout. One of the most hilarious of them all occurred in the Lakers‘ bench in the 2022-23 season. During a regular season game against the Boston Celtics, the refs failed to call a foul on LeBron James‘ game-winning lay-up.
The replays clearly pointed out Jayson Tatum‘s hand touching James during the play. While the refs refused to call it a foul, players waited on the bench as the game moved into overtime. During that time, Beverley walked over to the ref with a camera to show the proof and got ejected hilariously. Similarly, Pat Bev has created many hilarious courtside moments.
