It seemed like clear blue skies for the Golden State Warriors after Stephen Curry’s return from injury. The Warriors were on a five-game winning streak without Steph, which led everyone to assume that the streak would continue. However, things have taken a turn for the worse as Golden State has been on a three-game losing streak since Curry’s return. Last night’s game had Draymond Green getting into an altercation with another player who has now become the target of Shaquille O’Neal, Charles Barkley, and the rest of the ‘Inside the NBA’ crew.

The Golden State Warriors got their third straight loss handed to them by the Memphis Grizzlies. After days of slamming each other, Draymond Green and Dillon Brooks finally clashed on the court and it went just as everyone expected it to go.

The ‘Inside the NBA’ crew sat down to talk about the game and the developing beef between Green and Brooks. With over a minute left to play in the second quarter, Dillon Brooks finished with an acrobatic layup over Draymond Green.

Brooks wasn’t done there, as he had some words for the four-time NBA champion. As Brooks charged at Green, the 4x champion lifted his arm to avoid getting into an altercation with Brooks. This led to Brooks being only inches away from Draymond’s armpit.

That was all it took for the ‘Inside the NBA’ crew to make Brooks their new target. Shaquille O’Neal got the ball rolling and said, “What kind of deodorant he got on?” This led to Charles Barkley chiming in with, “Probably that Loomy stuff.”

Even Ernie Johnson took part in the banter, saying, “I have a feeling you’ve tried that.” Unfortunately, Kenny ‘The Jet’ Smith was not part of the show as Jamal Crawford filled in for him. Otherwise, fans would’ve gotten a remark from him as well. Nevertheless, they had everyone in splits with their comments.

The Golden State Warriors and the Memphis Grizzlies have been at each other’s throats since last year’s playoffs. Though the Warriors do not consider them rival-worthy, the Grizzlies sure do give it their all when facing Golden State.

Despite having no Ja Morant, Steven Adams, and Brandon Clarke in their lineup, the Grizzlies took charge of the game right from the tip. Due to the Warriors’ poor defense, Memphis was able to build a strong 20-point lead going into the second quarter.

The numerous attempts from Stephen Curry, Jordan Poole, and Klay Thompson to bring the team back were in vain. In the end, it was the Grizzlies going home with a comfortable win.

Golden State has dropped to the sixth spot in the Western Conference with a 34-33 record. Let’s see if the Warriors are able to snap their losing streak as they face the rampaging Milwaukee Bucks next.
