The LeBron James-led Los Angeles Lakers did not start the 2022-23 season as they would have liked to. The Lakers fell short during the season opener on October 18 as the Golden State Warriors won the game 123-109. James did the bulk of the scoring for the Lakers, but it was not enough to win the game despite added support from Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook. Recently, LeBron James made a completely honest admission about the situation of the Lakers roster after being drubbed by Stephen Curry’s Warriors.

The Los Angeles Lakers star recently revealed one of the most crucial drawbacks that the team’s roster has. James shared that the lack of shooting options on the Lakers team is a major concern. The Lakers were behind the Warriors for the most part of the game and were left with a big deficit during the final few moments of the fourth quarter. James scored 31 points with 14 rebounds and 8 assists.

In addition, Kendrick Nunn chipped in 13 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists. However, it was not enough to defeat the defending champions with great players like Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and Jordan Poole dominating the floor.
