The Serbian ace Novak Djokovic had everything going for him in the 2020 season. After ending the year as the World No. 1 for the sixth time, he equaled the record of American legend Pete Sampras.
But standing at 17 Grand Slams, Djokovic is still three major titles behind both Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal. Therefore, his primary goal in 2021 will be to shorten the gap in the GOAT race.
Additionally, the 33-year-old is very close to the Swiss maestro’s record of 310 weeks spent as the top player. Now, it seems highly unlikely that anybody could stop him from breaking Federer’s record.
