Ever since Jake Paul entered MMA, the sport has been pure chaos. The boxer is also known to jibe at the UFC’s favorite Conor McGregor. Although the call-out seems far-fetched, it really is true. The young YouTuber jibes at ‘The Notorious’ several times. However, the former UFC champion does not seem to consider it a thing. Fans have observed McGregor’s silence on the topic. Except for a few times, he has ignored Jake Paul most of the time.

Paul took one such jibe at the Irishman recently. It is not new to anyone who follows ‘The Notorious’ on Twitter that he is promoting Dana White’s new Power Slap league non-stop. While casually promoting UFC’s new sister league, McGregor received Jake Paul’s invitation to the ring. The boxer mocked the Irish fighter for calling himself “the king of KOs”.

What threat did Conor McGregor receive this time around?

The special thing about the Irishman is that he does not need to do much to get attention. Now and then, we can see people calling out McGregor for one thing or the other. Most of the time, he does reply, making up for an interesting online battle. However, he doesn’t seem to care much when things are about Jake Paul. When ‘The Notorious’ was on a streak of giving tips to the new slap fighters, he bragged about how he was the king of KOs. The YouTuber could not contain himself from calling out the UFC star.

Jake Paul commented, “Yes, Dustin knocked you the f*** out and put you to sleep”. While commenting, the 26-year-old recalled the UFC 264 rematch between McGregor and Dustin Poirier. In the rematch, McGregor’s past rival took a win by defeating him via KO/TKO. Both tweets have now been deleted. The reason for both of them is unknown.

It is possible that the two must have come to terms with the argument. Perhaps they are setting a plan of when and where to fight it out.

When can we expect McGregor to face off against Paul?

The two have several hurdles between them. Unless they can clear it off and cross it efficiently, they cannot fight. Firstly, the two are not in the same weight category. If in case a catchweight was to be expected, the match is highly unlikely to take place. This is because both McGregor and Paul are part of different promotions. As mentioned earlier by Dana White, UFC will not be taking part in any cross-promotional event.
