Former UFC light heavyweight fighter, Chael Sonnen shared his two cents on Dana White launching his new Power Slap League. Recently, the idea has been facing a lot of backlash due to the uniqueness of the sport. Although superstars such as Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz have been expressing their interest in appearing for the promotion, the idea has been ridiculed on social media. It looks like the involvement of big names too can’t convince combat fans.
Chael Sonnen dived in deep to explain the reasons why the new Power Slap League has yet to win him over. While it has one of the most famous promoters in the current era, it is not receiving the support which backs the status of the UFC president.

Chael Sonnen believes that the Power Slap League lacks the skill
The UFC legend knows a thing or two about the business. He believes that when a fighter works hard to develop a skill to hit, it’s more entertaining.
He said, “I right now can’t believe that you have a skill if you’re letting the other person hit you. And I want to be wrong. I want you to tell me what I’m missing there.”
