Is Conor McGregor the biggest superstar in UFC ever? Many believe that the 35-year-old Dubliner is one of the most influential fighters in the UFC. Bisping recently took to his YouTube channel to discuss the potential fights that might happen at UFC 300. During the video, he mentioned about one fighter who has created the same legacy as Conor McGregor in the sport. Let us find out who that fighter is.

Alex Pereira is one of those rare fighters in the UFC who has won titles in two different weight classes. The 36-year-old initially won the middleweight title when he beat Israel Adesanya at UFC 281. He then moved to the light heavyweight division after failing to defend his title at UFC 287 against “The Last Stylebender”. While many considered the move to be a wrong decision, he proved his class by winning the title against Jiri Prochazka at UFC 295.

After delivering some stellar performances inside the Octagon, Bisping finally compared “Poatan” to ” The Notorious” One. During the video he said: “Pereira has taken over the sport in kind of like a fashion that Conor McGregor did. He’s become a champion of two different weight classes. He’s beaten four former or current champions and he’s got one of the most exciting fighting styles and the man is a finisher. He just can’t speak English. If he did, he probably wouldn’t say much, anyway. Seems to be a man of few words. Although, by all accounts, a very nice guy and very funny and humorous guy. But he looks like a stone-cold killer and we want to see him in there.

Will Jamahal Hill face Alex Pereira at UFC 300?

UFC Light Heavyweight champion Jamahal Hill reached the pinnacle of his career at UFC 283 where he defeated Glover Teixeira for the title. However, the belt lasted for a brief period after Hill had to vacate it after suffering from an Achilles tendon tear while playing pickup basketball. Pereira seized on the opportunity and won the belt at UFC 295 after beating Jiri Prochazka. Hill recently took to his Instagram account to give the fans the details about his return and the fans might just see him back in action soon.

“Sweet Dreams” has been out of action for quite some time now and his recent Instagram post created a lot of buzz . He posted a picture of himself with a bruised lip which pointed at a hard sparring session before any big event. The caption also read: “I’m baaaack!!!!!”, hinting at a comeback much sooner that accepted. The current light heavyweight champion has also shown interest in fighting against Hill. One of his Instagram post read: “Guys let’s focus on what Jamahal matters and then I’ll focus on breaking another record by making two title defenses in the shortest time possible.”
