Interestingly, the Bellator star’s challenge attracted the attention of the noted submission grappler, Gordon Ryan.

‘The King’ immediately pounced on the opportunity to mock the 29-year-old. Not only did he make a hilarious jibe, but he also compared it with a ‘crypto scam’. Thus, referencing the recent troubles, he is embroiled in. Earlier, the SBG Ireland product had sounded off Jake Paul as the result of his first career loss. Afterward, he set his eyes on the winner as his next potential opponent.

Danis issues a challenge to Tommy Fury

The perfect 2-0 record holder took to his Instagram handle as he declared himself and the Brit as “s*x symbols”. “Two undefeated s*x symbols in their prime let’s run it🥊,” wrote ‘El Jefe’.

Notably, Danis crossed over to boxing when he got involved with the famed YouTuber KSI. However, he, later on, pulled out of the fight that was scheduled for January 14, 2023.

Gordon Ryan mocks Danis for his challenge

The noted BJJ ace found the challenge amusing and shared his hilarious take on the same. He hit back saying, “You’ll make more running crypto scams.”

The comments were in reference to the recent accusations levied against the New Jersey native. Notably, Coffeezilla, a YouTuber, accused the American of accepting cash to promote cryptocurrency and NFT “scams” without due diligence.

The welterweight fighter is currently on a contract with Bellator. However, his steel cage appearances have become sporadic, and his engagements with boxing and grappling have taken a front seat.
