On the night of Dec 3 of last year, Tyson Fury came forth victorious over Derek Chisora. Then later that night, he called out Oleksandr Usyk, as he was present at the venue that night. So, Fury and Usyk had somewhat of a face-off right then and there. After that, it became a huge topic of discussion for boxing fans all around the world. The idea of two undefeated heavyweight boxers fighting against each other, ready to take the risk of getting the zero out from their flawless record, was enthralling for a lot of people.

This year has been a constant onslaught toward undefeated records. It happened with Jake Paul in the previous month. Then the upcoming Ryan Garcia vs. Gervonta Davis and now, even the heavyweight undefeated warriors, are planning to face each other too, putting their zero-loss record on the line.

But the fight did face some interruptions as at first Tyson Fury rejected the 50-50 clause offered to him for organizing the fight in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. But Fury rejected the fair split offer and as a result, he had to face some backlash from the fans. So, Tyson Fury offered Usyk a 70/30 deal where he’d just take a 30% paycheck. So, ‘The Cat’ has accepted the offer, and the fight is finally in the conversation of taking place for real.
