Dale Earnhardt Jr and his podcast are back with a bang. The Dale Jr Download has been a massive platform for the two-time Daytona 500 champion to voice his opinions, announce news about his countless ventures, narrate anecdotes from the past, and address the issues in the community. In short words, a complete package of entertainment for a NASCAR fan. With February marking the return of Dirty Mo Media’s flagship show, it has announced the lineup for the month.

Having hosted some of the fan favorites from the past and the present on the Dale Jr Download, Dale Earnhardt Jr has gone for something different this year. In an announcement on X, Dirty Mo Media revealed that the podcast will begin in February with a visit from the much-awaited ESPN journalist Marty Smith, followed by a NASCAR legend.

Dale Jr Download’s star-studded February lineup

Junior’s media house announced the new season of the podcast through a video reveal on its official X handle. The video begins with news about Dale Jr Download’s premiere, which will drop on February 6,  and Marty Smith, who will be dropping by the very next day. With the season-opening exhibition race coming on Feb. 5, NASCAR fans can certainly expect an interesting conversation.

The following week, Dale Earnhardt Jr will reunite with his former Hendrick Motorsports teammate and 4-time Cup Series champion, Jeff Gordon, on February 14. Gordon is the present chairman of Hendrick Motorsports and brings an executive viewpoint of NASCAR’s winningest team to the episode. However, the one person that the fans have been waiting for a long time is JTG Daugherty Racing owner and former NBA player, Brad Daugherty, who will be appearing the following week.

Daugherty’s presence is like a fleeting ship on the horizon. With his presence being tough to avail, NASCAR fans have commended Dale Earnhardt Jr for choosing guests and fulfilling their curiosity of seeing the two together. The final guest of the month will be the 2020 NASCAR Hall of Fame inductee and legendary crew chief Waddell Wilson, which is definitely an unexpected but pleasant surprise.

With the number of stars joining the show in February, the NASCAR community is quite excited. Flocking to the comments section, fans have voiced their joy at seeing some of the sport’s most loved personas collaborate.

The official Xfinity Series handle got the excitement started among the fans. Its comment read, “Hello, yes. We want to see this.” From the looks of it, Dale Earnhardt Jr has spent significant time in the off-season to find guests for his podcast. His research of the demographics has assembled an incredible lineup undoubtedly.

Brad Daugherty was among the most mentioned celebrities in the comment section as the fans awaited his presence. One of the similar comments read, “Absolutely stacked lineup! I am beyond excited for Brad Daugherty!” 

Another fan expressed their anticipation to see ‘Big Dukie’ on the Dale Jr Download, saying, “Looking forward to all of these. been hoping to see @BradDaugherty43 on the show for years. Can’t wait”

Marty Smith’s experience and knowledge of NASCAR has also made him a fan favorite. Discussing Smith’s addition to the list, a particular fan wrote, “Heavy hitters. @MartySmithESPN was long overdue for sure,” while another hinted at the absence of Dale Earnhardt Jr’s co-host and close friend Mike Davis from the show. Describing their anticipation for a loud and well-received inauguration of the new season, one of the fans posted, “Wow, You guys are really bringing the thunder to start the season off. Well done!”

With the amount of stardom Dale Earnhardt Jr has promised to put in the show, it is hard not to get excited about the various opinions that will collide on his forum. With Denny Hamlin returning with Actions Detrimental earlier this week, February couldn’t have been any better for Dirty Mo Media.
