After a successful journey to the Cup Series, the new No. 4 driver, Josh Berry, has been in the spotlight for the right reasons. Capitalizing on the same, Tony Stewart and Co. might have needed to add to the housekeeping department. In a recent upload on Twitter, Josh Berry can be seen being forced to clean the floor as the Cup Series rookie’s day one at SHR is revealed!

As the video begins, Josh Berry is seen scrubbing the floor with a toothbrush. The SHR official handle has posted a series of tweets depicting hilarious scenarios from Berry’s first day with the team. One of the earlier posts showed Josh Berry searching for his crew chief, Rodney Childers, throughout the SHR premises but couldn’t find him despite his best efforts.

Describing Berry’s ordeal with some clever wordplay, Stewart-Haas Racing’s official account captioned the post as, “We put our rookie through the ringer, and now our floors are Berry shiny.” Playing along with the act, Berry asks, “Am I done yet?” to which one of his crew members replies firmly, “You’ll be done when it’s clean.“

A seemingly tired Josh Berry, in a funny way, responded, “I thought it was clean when I got here.” The SHR handle then expressed gratitude to Berry for his cooperation with the humorous video, commenting, “Thanks for being a good sport, @joshberry.”

Josh Berry seems to be off to a good start in his life at SHR. The videos suggest a welcoming atmosphere with a positive attitude that will be key to his gelling with the team. Josh Berry’s success story of being a full-time Cup Series driver has developed gradually. Coming from the JRM Late Model program, he has honed his art through the years and received his first breakthrough last year. Finishing P2 in a substitute role at Hendrick Motorsports underlined his abilities as a Cup driver.

On the other hand, while Noah Gragson came through JRM as well, his stay in the Cup Series has been bumpy, to say the least. The 25-year-old arrived at the scene with a solid display in the Xfinity Series, which helped him get a move to Legacy Motor Club. However, following a fistfight with Ross Chastain, poor form, and an indefinite suspension, a return to the Cup Series seemed like a distant reality.
