The Los Angeles Lakers secured a long-fought win over the Golden State Warriors in double overtime. With a score of 145-144, the City of Angels performed exceptionally well, with the star performers being D’Angelo Russell, Anthony Davis, and their cornerstone LeBron James. The Akron Hammer managed to get a triple-double with 36 points, a career-high 20 rebounds and 12 assists. Not only that, he even hit the game-winning free throw shot to seal the deal for his franchise.

However, witnessing the Warriors’ loss, the famous comedian “Famous Los” was visibly upset. He took to social media where he shared a clip of himself watching the final seconds of the match where James makes the final free throw. Looking at that, the comedian couldn’t control himself and started screaming at the players and hitting his TV.

He even analyzed the play of the Dubs and angrily gave his input as to how the Warriors could’ve improved their game. The comedian did make some fair points though, like why didn’t the players block LeBron James in the final moments when they knew he would be the one to shoot? Instead, he pointed out how the players were guarding Tauren Prince and couldn’t block or steal the ball from the 39-year-old star.

Stephen Curry did everything he could in his power to fight back against the Lakers and put up 46 points. He even hit a crunchtime 3-pointer with 4.7 seconds left in the second overtime to earn a lead for the Dubs. However, due to James getting 2 free throws within the last 2 seconds of the game, the match ended in the 17x NBA champions’ favor. So, where were the Warriors lacking?

The Warriors had challenges finding their rhythm

The Warriors seemed to be on their way to victory, with Curry’s brilliance and contributions from Klay Thompson, Jonathan Kuminga, and Andrew Wiggins. But they blew a nine-point lead late in regulation that changed the outcome of the game. Coach Steve Kerr’s lineup changes, including the return of Draymond Green to the starting lineup, demonstrated the Warriors’ resiliency. However, the Lakers’ constant effort and toughness made them unstoppable. Klay Thompson, who recovered in the second half, struggled early, missing key three-pointers that could’ve changed the fate of the match.

Despite Green’s powerful presence against Anthony Davis, the Lakers outperformed the Warriors, preventing them from extending their lead. So this game showed that the Warriors need to execute their attacks constantly and with Thompson’s shooting problems and Andrew Wiggins‘ defensive struggles, the Dubs were unable to find their footing in the game.
