The Brazilian fighter has made a significant impact on Dana White’s promotion in a relatively short period. He came into the UFC in 2021 and captured the title in just over a year from arch-rival Israel Adesanya. Since he is one of the top guys in the company, he revealed his thoughts on some of the other fighters.

‘Poatan’ participated in a word association game where he used one word to describe some of the popular fighters on the UFC roster today. Pereira described six fighters, including Jon Jones, Jiri Prochazka, Jamahal Hill, Robert Whittaker, Israel Adesanya, and Khamzat Chimaev. All but one fighter received a harsh description from the UFC middleweight champion.

Pereira described the heavyweight champion Jon Jones and two former middleweight champions, Robert Whittaker, and his arch-rival Israel Adesanya as “warriors.” Jiri Prochazka and Jamahal Hill received their descriptions as “very good” and “good” respectively. However, Alex Pereira did not have anything good to say about Khamzat Chimaev, keeping in mind that both fighters have beef. ‘Poatan’ labeled him as “dog’s a**hole.”
