YouTuber turned boxer, Jake Paul, has once again made headlines for demeaning legendary pugilists, as he claims to be a part of the boxing family now. 3-0 as a professional, he has already bagged lucrative paychecks and has made a lot of buzz in the combat world. Hence, ‘The Problem Child’ wants to advance himself in the journey.
The 23-year-old has compared himself with the current elites, citing a similar future for himself. While several fans have criticized Jake Paul for facing below-average boxers, he had a scratchy response to it. He connected with ESPN and spoke about several things, including his opinion on legendary boxers like Mike Tyson.

“You probably have never watched Floyd Mayweather’s fourth fight, or know who his opponent was. You probably have never watched Mike Tyson’s fourth fight, you probably never watched Anthony Joshua’s fourth fight. And when you go on Box Rec and you google the opponents and their records. At that point in their careers, those opponents were all negative,” said Paul.

In the past, Jake Paul has aimed shots at the P4P king, Canelo Alvarez, and accused him of cheating with banned substances. Since claiming to be a pro boxer, he has thoroughly targeted the big names of the combat world. So, Paul’s recent comments on Anthony Joshua and Floyd Mayweather may not trigger a lot of fans, or they may trigger a fresh set of fans.
Well, that’s not all, Jake Paul has had a lot of social media banter with MMA elites. Starting from UFC star Conor McGregor to Nate Diaz and UFC President Dana White, Paul has gone against a long list of superstars. He even appeared at UFC 261 and had an incident with Daniel Cormier.

After securing the first-round Knockout against former UFC fighter Ben Askren, Paul wants to face a bigger name. As he walks ahead in the combat world, facing a YouTuber will not suit his status. So, he will either have to fight a pro boxer or a combat sports athlete.
Bellator MMA star, Dillon Danis, has expressed his interest in going against ‘The Problem Child’. Adding to that, Tyson Fury’s brother, Tommy Fury, can also be a viable contender against Paul.
