Max Verstappen won the first race of the season at the Saudi Arabian GP. Meanwhile, the Ferrari duo Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz finished second and third. Also, Verstappen’s teammate Sergio Perez finished P4 after starting the race at the pole. But the Saudi win also unlocked a great achievement for the Dutchman.

The 24-year-old is already made a name for himself among the greatest in the sport. There are many legendary drivers who have won races on different circuits. Fernando Alonso has won on 19 different circuits, Sebastian Vettel has on 21 circuits and Lewis Hamilton holds the record of 31 different circuit wins. Now the young Dutchman also joined the greats on this list.

Verstappen has won races on 15 different circuits after his Saudi Arabian win. He is only 24-year-old and thus, one of the youngest drivers on the list to win so many races on different tracks. Because of his young age, Verstappen has the potential to move up on this list and win on more different circuits.

The 24-year-old Verstappen lifted his maiden championship title last year after the neck-to-neck battle against Lewis Hamilton at the infamous 2021 Abu Dhabi GP. Max Verstappen had a poor start this season. He was unable to lead the Bahrain GP as the Ferrari driver, Charles Leclerc didn’t allow him to overtake. Further, Verstappen couldn’t even finish the race with a P2 as he had to retire because of an engine glitch.

After the unfortunate defeat in Bahrain, the Red Bull driver came to Jeddah for the second race of the season. But he couldn’t secure a front-row start instead bagged P4 while his teammate Sergio Perez was at the pole. But on the race day, Verstappen overtook Carlos Sainz for P3 and eventually went to P2 after Checo lost his lead because of an unfortunate pit stop.

The Dutchman again had the challenge of Charles Leclerc ahead of him. The Monégasque driver wasn’t letting him take the lead. However, Verstappen eventually took the lead using DRS and won the race. The reigning champion might have secured a victory in Jeddah, but the season is long and 21 races are left. If he wants to secure his championship title, then he needs to upgrade his performance.
