With just 1 day to go, fans just can’t wait for Survivor Series WarGames to take place. Two special reasons exist as to why fans could have their eyes fixed on their screens on Saturday. The primary reason revolves around the obvious return of ‘The Viper’ Randy Orton after 18 long months. The probable comeback of CM Punk also lends itself as a decisive reason to not miss the PLE. Whether the latter happens or not, fans are still going to get their money’s worth as the men’s WarGames match aims to provide immaculate action and storytelling And fans are hoping that Cody Rhodes and Co win this match to finally put The Judgment Day in place.

But one question still remains. Will The American Nightmare pursue the WWE Championship after Survivor Series?

Cody Rhodes has made it very clear that he came back to the promotion only to win the WWE Championship. Something his charismatic father Dusty Rhodes could never do in his entire career. Rhodes earned that very opportunity by winning the Royal Rumble and gaining an opportunity to win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 39.

Unfortunately, even after putting on a tough fight, Reigns defeated The American Nightmare after interference from Solo Sikoa played a pivotal part. This is something that Damian Priest even mocked him for on last week’s episode of RAW. Priest said, “How does it feel knowing that you can beat these guys in any match you want but the one thing you can’t do is be a champion?”. Hence, post-Survivor Series, Rhodes would want to focus his attention back on the ‘The Head Of The Table’ Roman Reigns.

Fans even got a hint that this epic rivalry could be reignited soon. On the season premiere of SmackDown, when Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso were leaving the ring after successfully defending their tag titles, Roman Reigns appeared with Solo Sikoa. That’s when the two juggernauts came face to face and the tension in the arena could be cut with a knife. This was a clear indication that The Tribal Chief also wanted to lock horns with his once arch nemesis. And on last week’s episode of SmackDown, Rhodes made it clear that after The Judgment Day, The Bloodline is his next target.

But how exactly did he outline his intention of dismantling The Bloodline?

After LA Knight defeated Jimmy Uso on SmackDown, ‘The Enforcer’ Solo Sikoa popped up as a backup to dish out some punishment. He then marched straight to the ring to destroy Knight.

Eventually, Knight was outnumbered and The Bloodline continued to visciously attack Knight. But just before Sikoa could deliver a vicious Uso splash to Knight on the commentator’s table, Rhodes appeared to assist Knight.

One take at a time

I still vividly remember the time when WWE VHS's used to be played on cable movie channels every Sunday(early 90s in India). And that's where my love for the WWE began. My love and passion for pro wrestling only grew over the years in the form of a mini collection of cards, stickers, tees, action figures and even a WWE Championship belt signed by the 'Big Red Machine' Kane himself (talk about getting lucky).
