So far, even people living under a ‘Rock’ know about the colossal outrage created by Dwayne Johnson. The #WeWantCody movement is getting bigger and bigger because of the sudden replacement of Cody Rhodes from the main event of WrestleMania 40. While the news of this tyrannical move launched by The Rock is spreading like wildfire, is something like this really going to happen?

The situation seems very real since he just assumed power as a TKO board member. While this distinguishes him as a non-fighter and an authority figure now, is The Rock really sabotaging things for personal gain? Interestingly, while the WWE created a great mesh of obscurity around everything, one of the sources has finally come up with the true direction of the upcoming events.

WWE has heavily featured Rhodes and The Rock on RAW, indicating their ongoing involvement. While matches against Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre have been hinted at, fans are clamoring for Rhodes to conclude his storyline. However, a recent segment at the WrestleMania 40 kickoff event, where The Rock sided with Reigns by slapping Rhodes, altered the dynamic.

As a result, a match between Rhodes and Reigns has been confirmed after he challenged Reigns at the event. Now according to Dave Meltzer‘s posts on Twitter things are making a bit of sense.

He said, “Looks like Reigns & Rock vs. Rollins & Cody night one and Cody vs. Reigns night two.  But nobody said that and I think they’ll be doing twists and turns because they played into Rock on the board of directors and has power. Funny that this is the most “insider” angle there is and doing it for Mania.” Hence this shows that Cody Rhodes might be fighting 2 days consequently once with Rollins and another with Reigns in WM 40.

It will be interesting to see who comes out in support. Both Rhodes and Reigns during their face-off may gain support from other wrestlers as well.

Allies that can help Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns from each side

Roman Reigns, known as The Tribal Chief, leads the faction known as The Bloodline. It’s logical to expect support from other Bloodline members to ensure his victory against Cody Rhodes. With Jimmy Uso, Solo Sikoa, and Dwayne Johnson in his corner, Reigns has a formidable alliance.

Conversely, Cody Rhodes has assembled his own team to help him conclude his storyline and emerge victorious against Reigns. With allies like Randy Orton, Logan Paul, and former Bloodline members Sami Zayn and Jey Uso, Rhodes has a strong support system too.

Should Reigns receive assistance from his faction, Rhodes can rely on his allies to swiftly come to his aid as well. Hence what do you think of this recent update from Meltzer?
