Kyle Busch Once Warned Joey Logano “It’s F**king On” Amidst Raging NASCAR Beef

In his NASCAR career, Kyle Busch has been involved in a fair number of scraps and feuds. One of his biggest feuds was with Team Penske driver Joey Logano. A notable incident from this feud came at the Michigan International Speedway in 2018, where Busch qualified third and Logano was fifth.

Sometime during the race, the #18 driver slotted in between teammate Denny Hamlin and the #22 Penske driver. Joey Logano gave Busch a few bumps and tried to make an overtake. Suffice it to say, Kyle Busch flipped his lid and raged, “Go tell the 22 if he swipes my rear bumper again and tries to fence me, it’s f***ing on! Godddddd! This is the fourth time, the fourth f***ing time I’ve run him down.”

How deep does the Kyle Busch and Joey Logano rivalry run?

It is safe to say that the Busch-Logano enmity ran pretty deep and sometimes ended in fisticuffs. Of course, there have been times when they have patched up and let bygones be bygones. Joey Logano once said that he respected the Joe Gibbs Racing driver because he was not afraid to go toe-to-toe. However, at the Michigan Speedway, it did take an ugly turn and Kyle Busch was absolutely fuming.

On a positive note, the constant love taps from Joey Logano didn’t do much lasting damage. However, they did annoy Kyle Busch a lot, and that prompted him to lash out. Though we would like to think that he channeled that rage productively and roared to a fine fourth-place finish.

He finished behind an all-Stewart-Haas Racing train, led by Clint Bowyer, with Kevin Harvick in second and his brother Kurt Busch in third.

Karma also struck Joey Logano when he finished down in seventh place. This put him behind the Wood Brothers Racing driver Paul Menard and his Team Penske teammate Brad Keselowski.

It also meant that Kyle Busch was the best of the Toyotas, with Denny Hamlin being the closest one in 12th place. Additionally, he also beat all the Chevrolet cars, with the nearest one being Chase Elliott in ninth place.
