The Chicago Bulls have been riding high this season. A bounce back from last year, to say the least. During the offseason, prior to the start of the 2021-22 season, the Bulls made a few solid additions to their squad that have resulted in their current position in the league – the first seed in the Eastern Conference. These additions include Lonzo Ball, Alex Caruso, and potential MVP, DeMar DeRozan.
In light of these additions, the Bulls have made yet another. This player is none other than 11-year-old NBA veteran, Tristan Thompson.

This new recruit for the Bulls will benefit the squad immensely. Thompson not only brings NBA experience as a veteran, but he is also an NBA champion and has been to the NBA finals four times alongside LeBron James. So he clearly knows what it takes to get to the mountaintop. Moreover, the Canadian big-man can crash the boards for the Bulls with his strong rebounding, and provide a scoring boost alongside co-star, Nikola Vucevic.
The Future for the Bulls
The Eastern Conference is a tough place to be in. For the Bulls to be successful, they will have to get past James Harden’s 76ers, Kevin Durant’s Nets, and Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Bucks, among others. This involves keeping the squad as healthy as possible as they aim to make a strong playoff run and vie for the championship.

Adding Tristan Thompson to the mix will only ease off the load on Vucevic’s shoulders, thereby helping the Bulls move forward. His experience will benefit the Bulls and allow them to make critical decisions. With this new addition, the Bulls could possibly win it all.
