LeBron James Picks Devin Booker and Damian Lillard as Two Most Disrespected Players in NBA

The league announced the starters for the NBA All-stars 2021 last week, and the obvious debate followed. While it delighted some people that their favorites were on the list, it became a matter of resentment for others. LeBron James is now the latest of those people unhappy with the listing.
Although the fresh declaration of 12 reserve names has eased the anger, there are still a few names that didn’t make the list. LeBron, who is set to play in his 17th All-star game, has named a couple of players that he felt were snubbed.

The Lakers’ big man had the highest number of votes to his name. Much like everyone else who has their list of players who they feel should have made it, Bron must have had his too. The two big names that The Akron Hammer put in the snubbed category were that of the young-gun Devin Booker and the veteran Damian Lillard.
LeBron took to Twitter and even said that the Phoenix Suns’ shooting guard is the “most disrespected player” in the league.

But this gives rise to another question; if both Devin Booker and Damian Lillard were to find a berth in the WC All-star starters, who would they replace? The already star-studded team has Stephen Curry, LeBron James, Nikola Jokic, Kawhi Leonard, and Luka Doncic. It might have meant Dame replacing Luka and Booker replacing The Claw, which would have then raised many other eyebrows.
A relief for Damian Lillard after the announcement of All-star reserves
The reserves from the WC are Damian Lillard (G), Donovan Mitchell (G), Rudy Gobert (C), Paul George (F), Anthony Davis (F), Chris Paul (G), and Zion Williamson (F).

The Big Dame Game’s entry as a reserve was quite obvious because he had earlier tied with Luka for joining the starters. Plus, he is having a memorable season in the absence of Blazers’ starters in Jusuf Nurkic and CJ McCollum. He will most probably be in the MVP race at the end of the regular-season and hence deserves the mention.
For Devin Booker, however, it was heartbreak. Even in the most recent game against the Blazers, it was Booker who gave a 34-point performance to belittle Dame’s 24-point effort. Anyway, the 24-YO will still be happy that his teammate and mentor Chris Paul has got a place in the reserves, even if he failed to do so.
