U.S. Championship: Logan Paul (champion) vs. Randy Orton vs. Kevin Owens

The YouTuber had been insisting for weeks that Nick Aldis find him a rival for the great event. Eventually, he got what he wanted, though he didn’t like it at all. After he and Austin Theory attacked ‘the Viper’ Orton, Kevin Owens came to the Viper’s aid and helped fight off Paul and Theory.

At that moment, Aldis appeared on the scene to announce that he had already found the title challengers. The SmackDown General Manager confirmed that Logan will put his United States Championship on the line against Owens and Orton in a triple-threat match at the event.

Jey Uso vs. Jimmy Uso

Jey Uso appeared on Monday Night RAW on Monday to claim that he was tired of his brother costing him every possible title opportunity and not letting him advance in his career, so he will make things easy and challenge him to a match at WrestleMania 40. For his part, Jimmy Uso, through a promo in the dressing room, accepted his brother’s challenge and confirmed the confrontation for ‘The Showcase of the Immortals’.

LA Knight vs. AJ Styles

AJ Styles and L.A. Knight have been involved in a rivalry since “The Phenomenal” returned in December. Styles argued that Knight took advantage of his absence due to The Bloodline’s backstage attack to be able to take his place at Crown Jewel against Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

Although there have been other wrestlers meddling, both have continued their rivalry over the months and it will all lead to WrestleMania 40. LA Knight challenged AJ Styles on Friday on SmackDown and, when it looked like AJ wasn’t going to show up to respond, he attacked Knight from behind and accepted the challenge.

Confirmed fight for the First Night

The Rock and Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins

The Rock and Roman Reigns challenged Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins to a tag team match on the first night of WrestleMania 40. The stipulation? If The Bloodline wins, they will interrupt the match between Reigns and the American Nightmare. If Rhodes and the Visionary win, they’ll stay out of the fight. Seth Rollins and Rhodes came up with a very clear answer to The Bloodline. Both teams stepped into the ring on SmackDown and the confrontation was full of tension because of everything that has been happening in the last month.

When the American Nightmare was about to give the official answer to the challenge, The Rock decided to interrupt him to rebuke both him and Seth Rollins. The WWE World Heavyweight Champion got fed up with The Rock and decided to confront him and announced to his face that they accepted the challenge and would face each other in a tag team match on the first night of WrestleMania 40.

Confirmed fights for the Second Night

WWE Undisputed Universal Championship: Roman Reigns (c) vs. Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes announced that he would not face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40. And that’s because after receiving advice from some veterans of the sport, he believed that the best thing to do was to give his place to The Rock.

However, following this decision, the hashtag “#WeWantCody” went viral. It emphasized that Rhodes should finish his story on Monday Night RAW. Consequently, at the press conference for ‘The Showcase of the Immortals’, the American Nightmare changed his mind and announced that he would be facing the Tribal Chief. This led the Rock to turn heel and now the stipulation of the fight depends on the outcome of the aforementioned match on Night 1.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Seth Rollins (c) vs. Drew McIntyre

Seth Rollins will have double duty on Mania. During Night 1, he and Cody Rhodes will face off against The Rock and Roman Reigns. While Drew McIntyre continues to insist on finishing his story. Which is to win a World Championship in front of the public.
