WWE WrestleMania XL is truly going to be one of the biggest mania events of all time. The coming iteration of the annual PLE is bringing several new things to the table while reviving many old gems discontinued due to COVID-19. One of them being the WWE Slammy Awards.

Also known as WWE’s Oscars, the event will be returning in 2024 after its last run in 2020. More importantly, the winners of the WWE Slammy Awards will be decided via fan votes from the WWE Universe. But, will you be able to enjoy the mega event in person? Read on to find out.

How will the WWE Slammy Awards be conducted?

As per the WWE’s official announcement, The Slammy Awards will be conducted during the WrestleMania XL weekend at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia. This makes the prestigious event a part of the WWE World Program, which is a reincarnation of the WrestleMania Axxess

This makes the WWE World program even more valuable for the WWE Universe, which has bought almost every available ticket so far. The WWE Slammy Awards will take place on April 7th, 2024. The event will be hosted by WWE’s Cathy Kelly and New Day’s powerhouse member, Big E

Fans can stream and enjoy the show live from all the official social media handles of WWE. The WWE Universe to spectate the WWE Slammy Awards

WWE fans will be able to watch the WWE Slammy Awards ceremony unfold before them in Philadelphia. The Slammys won’t require fans to purchase extra tickets, as the program will be a part of WWE World before WrestleMania XL. Thus, fans will get to shop at the biggest WWE Superstore this season, along with deciding who gets the WWE Slammy Awards. 

More importantly, they will also be able to participate in a roundtable discussion with top WWE Superstars, which may also involve a discussion on the Slammys. So, who are the nominees for the prestigious WWE Awards this year?

The WWE Slammy Awards began in 1986 and the excitement around them has only grown every year. The year 2023 was probably one of the biggest ones for WWE, considering all the new changes after the takeover of Endeavor. 

This made several elements bigger and better. While several fan poles have already announced the top choices of the WWE Universe so far, here are the nominees for various categories.

There is also when Iyo Sky cashing in the Money in The Bank Contract (SummerSlam 2023), The Rock slaps Cody Rhodes (WrestleMania XL Press Conference), and Damage CTRL turns on Bayley (SmackDown 2/2/24).

Lastly, there is Cody Rhodes slaps The Rock (SmackDown 3/8/24).
